Sewer Line Video Inspection

A sewer line video inspection is used to identify a suspected problem within your sewer system. Using a high-resolution video camera attached to a flexible rod, we can inspect the entirety of your plumbing system. One of our plumbing service technicians will operate the camera and pinpoint the exact cause and location of a clog or break. They will then be able to recommend the ideal method for a cleaning or repair.

The Advantages over Traditional Methods

Before the sewer line video inspection was an option, you had to break ground in order to inspect any part of the sewer line. Not only is the sewer line video inspection method less destructive, but it is also more cost-effective and less time-consuming.

The radio transmitters attached to the camera give us the exact location of any problem, while the video transmission lets us see exactly what the problem is. No guesswork is involved!

When You’ll Need a Sewer Inspection

If you have been experiencing multiple instances of clogs, slow drains, or drain line backups, we would recommend a sewer line video inspection. We also recommend a sewer line inspection before purchasing a home, to ensure that you won’t be dealing with costly repairs in the future.

Possible Sewer Issues

There are many inside and outside factors affecting your sewer system every day. Any one of the following may lead to a sewer line clog, leak, or break:

  • Buildup of waste, including grease, hair, toilet paper, and feminine hygiene products
  • Tree root invasion
  • Extreme fluctuations in weather/temperature
  • Improper support
  • Earthquakes or ground shifting

If your plumbing system is producing foul smells, irregular noises, or resulting in frequent clogged drains, you may need to have a sewer line video inspection performed. Give us a call or contact us through our online form to schedule a service appointment.
